I sold an item last night and this evening received a message from the buyer saying:
eBay says your payment options are turned off. I’ve been trying to pay since the auction ended but it won’t let me.
They also asked me to call them, which makes me wonder if this is some attempt to get around eBay's rules. But the buyer has a long history of positive feedback. I've been selling items for years, received payment from buyers two days ago and another one this afternoon (though that was a Buy It Now, not an auction). The only thing different about this auction that the buyer says they can't pay for is that it's in a different category from my usual sales (Collectibles instead of toys). Is it possible my payment options are somehow turned off and how do I turn them back on? Or is this a buyer issue and not a problem on my end? Thanks!

Buyer is attempting to scam you, the "Call me" is the giveaway . Cease communication and cancel the transaction on day 5 for non payment.

That was my first thought when I saw the "Call me." I sent them an invoice so if they don't pay that I will cancel when I can. I can't believe how much positive feedback they've received as a buyer over the past year, so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Thank you!
