Bank validation timing out

I'm trying to add a bank account to receive payments as a seller. Every time for the last week I get the error message, it's taking longer than usual, please check your internet connection. My internet connection is fast, there is no internet problem. There is an eBay problem, but I can't work out what with.

I have tried adding my NI number, changing my name and choosing my bank is not shown type in account details. Every time no matter what I change, same error message.

Same here.   Have tried different banks and different browsers

Chatted with support which was unhelpful. 
I've had an account for 25 years and have recently been buying only but decided to start selling again.  Bad idea.   

Seems like a ploy to use your funds longer before giving them to you

Same problem here.  Verified my bank last week with a successful test deposit now suddenly yesterday my bank isn't verified so gawd only knows when they will give me my money.  I verified a second bank account so I am crossing my fingers.  

The 3 day after delivery delay was bad enough, now this!?! As a new seller, this is really giving an awful impression.

Having the same exact issue.  Just made first sale, it said to add bank.  But it just keeps saying that message that it is taking longer than usual.  Tried chrome, firefox, and edge.  1.5gb speed.  The issue is not my internet connection!

Also tried in app on mobile, both on wifi and on 5g data.  Same error.  What is going on ebay???  Had no problem adding a card so you can BILL me.
