Is anyone else not able to connect their bank account (at a very large bank) to their eBay account for seller payout? I had the same account at said bank attached to my eBay profile for years and the connection was removed. I've been trying to reconnect to the exact same account for over two weeks and keep getting error messages: "This bank is not supported by eBay"...even though they're listed as an eBay-trusted banking partner.
I've attempted to connect via every possible way on the site (various links and nav, different browsers, mobile and app) and have been on the phone with customer service twice. Their final recommendation to me (after 45 minutes on the phone) was that I needed to open a new bank account with a different bank to connect for payout, which is a non-starter. It's the principle of failing financial technology with a company known for financial technology.
Does anyone know a workaround or have experienced similar issues? What a horrible customer experience and I've been using eBay for 15 years. At this point I'm considering leaving eBay.
