American Express - Will I be able to use AMEX through paypal to buy things on ebay?

I use my business amex frequently for purchasing parts, tools and inventory for my computer repair business.  I like using this card specifically because I have a balance, can exceed my credit limit for large purchases and everything is synced up with quickbooks online for accounting purposes.  Does anyone know if I will be able to use paypal to pay with the amex card?  

Specifically asking because of the notice saying ebay wont accept amex in august.

Yes just register your card at PP and make that your primary pay option.

I had the same question.  However, if I link my AMEX to my Paypal and then use that to purchase an Ebay item do I get charged the 3% extra or whatever it is for using a credit card vs having the Paypal funds come direct from my banking account?

As long as paypal accepts it you can pay with it.

Except if the vendor does not accept AMEX, then paypal will just use another one of the cards you have linked on paypal without telling you.  I found that out yesterday on a large purchase I made primarily to help with my new bus card SUB requirement
