you think that after selling since 2017 having 2229 feedback rating , top rated seller status , approved monthly selling limit of $100000 a month and average sales between $7000 and 12000 a month and shipping 90% of sales out within 1 days you should be a valued asset for ebay .
Obviously this is not the case , this morning i received a email stating that payouts were on hold pending a periodic review which could take up to 5 days ! so now thanks to ebay i am without any funds to pay my bill for 5 days , of course they still let you list and sell items which of course given that ebay no longer gives you the option to use alternate payment providers is pointless.
So has anybody else experienced this before ?

It's a Federal Requirement to be sure sellers are who they say they are. Pictured DL's, Bank Statement submittal etc. is common on all venues, usually once a year.
If they didn't 'hold' peoples money, most would just ignore.
Now, they've got your attention.

It is a commonly heard story in these forums. You recently began to sell some items priced much, much higher than your average sale. Ebay requires signature verification with postage for sold items valued over $750 and they also often require additional verification from sellers when sales are high. Be prepared for it to take longer than 5 days.

Keep doing great work. Ebay just wants to make sure that everything is OK. Ebay is trying to keep ebay safe. Don't take it personal.

I got hit with this last quarter of last year. I contacted eBay and it was a verification process. I had to send ID and some other requested documents. It didn't take the whole five days.
