Consigning my clothes to someone else locally to sell for me.

I would just like to take my lightly used clothes to someone near me or ship them at not to high a fee ! Thanks I live in NW Arkansas.

Selling and shipping is a lot of work. Have you considered a consignment store?

Agree with above.

Not many people will be willing to take on the risk and the tax burden to sell for you on eBay.

Search for a local brick & mortar consignment shop. 

 

OR try listing yourself.. /shrugs

You're not likely to find any takers here. I, too, would look for a consignment store in your area. Good luck.

Anyone you take them to will charge you about 70% of the selling fee as they will be charged 15.3% Self Employment Tax, upwards of 25% Federal Tax, 5-10% State Tax, 15% ebay fees so if something sells for $20 plus $10 shipping, expect to get about $6.
