The way everything is postioned on the dash and the shape of the gauge cluster tells me its something GM from 1955-56.......

I'm curious though as to what makes it a 56 specifically?

its a 56 Pontiac because the steering wheel horn button has grooves
the 55 was smooth and 57 didnt have one
and the 57 speedomeeter changed to rectangle
