railroad name challenge

Here is a challenge for some of you younger guys and anybody else who wants to participate. I just sat down here and thought of 40 names of railroads that used to exist in the 1950's & 60's. Without any research or cheating of any kind see how many you can come up with then maybe we will figure out how to comopile a list to see which ones we forgot. Fearless, Usually up pretty early and check in with group before I get busy. Since you do the same (being 1'30") ahead it seems we are around about the same time. Pete check out the Happy 4th of July discussion in group #1. Its seems maybe my answer may have got a vet to respond instead of just looking as I do not remember seeing his name before. So there still maybe hope for group #1 after all, or at least we can hope. I do agree that the discussions have gotten fewer along with the answers. A couple of days they only had one discussion answered. Although the poll (bad word sorry) shows that 35 people have voted. Lou just sitting back and watching.

Lou, I saw that post and found it funny in a way that it was posted by the very person who caused the creation of this group. You all know I'm a Nam vet and we have others in this group who are vets too. I didn't open a 4th of July discussion.
