I saw that post and found it funny in a way that it was posted by the very person who caused the creation of this group.
You all know I'm a Nam vet and we have others in this group who are vets too. I didn't open a 4th of July discussion. Didn't think it was necessary as we have all expressed our thanks to our troops many times in various discussions. My son is a career soldier too. Right now he is a Drill Instructor (SFC) at Ft. Dix, NJ.
