Almost done of one set of tracks. Very time consuming. I'm using liquid glue so takes some time for pieces to set up. But it is more forgiving where the links pivot with one another. Super glue would bond those instantly.
If I'm doing better tomorrow, I will go back to my other projects that were in the works. With the ongoing nosebleed I hung out in the dining room watching movies for better part of day. Maybe I should sniff some CA glue, maybe the fumes will clot my nose.
I'd rather be back in Khandahar Air Field than living the life I've had for past 9 months. Maybe i should get on my knees to make it easier for life to kick me in the lunchbox.
Sick of being sick..
Sickboy arggghh!!

Dave,
Or use a soldering iron to cauterise the nose...
Euehhheh,

Never thought of that one. Just need to figure out what wattage of soldering iron to use.

Finished painting a bike model with my first attempt at finally trying nail polish. Had some high gloos glear from Testors 'color by Boyd' series. Quite happy with the results. no pic yet. Waiting for clear to fully cure.
Can't wait to try a finky purple on a car kit.
Stinky stuff to spray. I wouldn't want to spray without a respirator. Even long before my illness, I wore a 3M (automotive painting) respirator to keep the ol' lungs clean.

This is why I use acrylics only anymore. I looked at my paper type masks when I used the spray primer from Testors and the whole thing was grey from the air in the room......or should I say the paint in the air. Now I take the parts outside, no paint booth, to do any spray priming. The air even stinks in the basement as the primer flashes off. Exhaust fan blowing and a window cracked. It is cold in there but I wait a day for it to dry before going back in there. The paint and CA fumes must have coated my lungs by now, or maybe the tar and nocotine from my former smoking (quit 20 tears ago) has a protective coating on my lungs. Sure beats the smog of Phoenix up here though.

Finished Popovich Pipes for the club layout and installed it yesterday. Started Sweaty Betty's diner for the shelf layout. Winter is a great time to get modeling done. No outside chores to interrupt.

Time to sh** or get off the pot. I think I am going to tear out my On30 layout and start over again with a smaller configuration in mind. This one had too much spaghetti track and not enough scenery. I think I'll try for a single road bed and forget all about operations, just more scenery to run through. I'm thinking point to point rather than continuous run. I may have to sacrifice some of the buildings I have already built, but there is only so much space and O scale does take up a lot of it quickly. This time also NO DUCK UNDERS! I'll let you all know as it happens.

The quest for always making a RR better. Will you have a couple tracks for a yard to haul some cars to couple industries?
