Pete, Sounds like simplicity itself! I actually did that with an Atlas Carnation boxcar to make a "conversion car". I just wasn't sure about going from body mount to truck mount. Marc

CJ Yup, there are a couple of Porsches running around the layout, 944s. But my favorite N-scale car is the 40 Willys coupe, purple with flames. Punk

Yeah Marc don't worry about it. I just cut a giant notch in the front of one of my engins so the coupler will fit. Punk

UPDATE: Both State Series collections are 100% up to date. They both have the USA B units and the Virgin Islands car. This collecting thing is fun, and I owe it all to the Wild Child, Thanks Dot! CJ

I will not take any credit for your spending habits my dear CJ! hahaha If you are having fun with the collection that's all one can ask for! I thought of gathering up the missing cars for my 2nd set too, but one expense is bad enough. I agree with you though, the collecting part of it is fun, not the money part! I'm just keeping busy building my structures and staying out of trouble these days. Not too much buying going on at this house. I haven't seen anything lately that I really "want." Dot WC
