iPhone 16 pro videos

Anyone else having issues uploading videos from 16 pro? All mine are being rejected- old 13 pro videos are uploading fine

Have you checked video specs - size / format, etc? Check the bottom of this page:

• The video should be .mp4 or .mov with a 150MB limit, or about one minute long
• The maximum supported video size is 150 MB
• The maximum upload resolution is 1080p
• Supported output resolutions are 240p, 360p, 480p, and 720p
• MP4 file types- MPEG-4 Part 10 or Advanced Video Coding (MPEG-4 AVC)

Yes! We are having the same problem with iPhone 16 Pro. Video meets specs and uploading from desktop so not sure why it is happening. Having to use our iPhone 10 to shoot / upload videos.

Have you logged it with eBay? Mines been sent to technical to look into but might help if they know it’s a bigger issue 

I find it strange there isn’t loads of people

With the same issue though - we can’t be the only ones 

also settings/ size all seem okay 🤷🏻‍♀️

EBay must know that iPhone 16 videos are being rejected…..I guess it is some format issue. 

I’ve realised over the years that either the help desk are not made aware off issue or are told to act dumb.

Yep. Just got the 16 and photos won't load either. I even tried to reduce the file size of my photos in my settings but still didn't work. My 14 works fine. Frustrating!

I was able to get it to accept my iPhone 16 videos by going to the iPhone camera settings and changing the “Record Sound” setting from the default “Spatial Audio” to Stereo. From what I’ve read spatial audio is a new video sound format supported on Apple devices but I’m guessing it is not compatible with eBay. I’ve only tried this on one video but that’s the only change I made and it seemed to work. Let us know if that fixes it for you.
