iPad update link - Trouble updating iPad

I have an A1416 Model no. 3rd generation iPad and my eBay app has expired but when I click on the update button it says the app is unavailable in the uk store. Has my iPad become too old to use the eBay app now? I use the app a lot on my iPad and don't often refer to the website.

The provided link changes nothing for me - iPad 3, 9.3.3, deleted old app - still says I need to update IOS  - no option to get compatible version.  Please help?

I need help I do NOT understand what to do... All I want to do is search for som old pressed glassware on EBay and you will NOT let me do it. You say I need to update and need 10.0 or later that I must update to iOS 10.0 in order to download and use this application I do NOT know what to do and am so frustrated all I want to do is look on eBay this not user friendly and I am furious

I have not succeeded to update my ipad which I use a lot. I need to have it updated immediately.

On your computer open itunes and download the ebay app . Then go back to your iPad and try to download again . You should get the latest version available for your outdated version of iOS .  Your device is too old to support the latest version of iOS .

That worked fine! Version 5.16.1 now installed fine on my iPad2 running iOS 9.3.5.

Have  You tried it with iOS 9???? All these users are  crying to get help and you feed us with useless advises!!!!

Why can't I use the eBay app anymore??   I have IPad 3rd generation and it does not offer update to ios10.  Tell me a way around this!!

We also have to blame apple for not allowing the oldest ipad to use iso-10

This is how to fix it and get the old version back.

On your iPad go to App Store.  Click on Purchased.  Find EBay and then click on the cloud.  It will then ask you if you want the older version as the new one is not supported.  And there you have it!!!
