iPad update link - Trouble updating iPad

I have an A1416 Model no. 3rd generation iPad and my eBay app has expired but when I click on the update button it says the app is unavailable in the uk store. Has my iPad become too old to use the eBay app now? I use the app a lot on my iPad and don't often refer to the website.

Found out,

the old app has not been uninstalled. So, 2 Apps in parallel.

Can I no longer use eBay without iOS 10?

Same problem here, my IOS is 9.3.5 and is up to date, previous app worked fine for me. WHY CAN 'T THE APP  be backward compatible. I use my iPad to order products regularly, have 100% rep with other 1600 feedback if eBay can't sort this out, may just start to use AMAZON instead !

Those of us that don't have the latest shiny little gadgets can't use the Ebay app anymore since the updated it.

I have tried to do this no joy & also deleted and then tried again no joy 

I use my iPad to shop - buying & selling on eBay please tell me how to fix!

I don't get an option to download it.

All I get is a message that says: This app is only available on the App Store for ios devices.
