On iOS app purchases older than 2 months suddenly develope a status of “unavailable” and so start showing up again in Purchase History page.
This does not happen on the desktop site and so is not a feature parity option. There is no setting that can remove these “Unavailable” items from the purchase list. Very much making this a bug.
It’s been a problem for about 5 versions now and lots of people have complained about it, but have failed to describe the issue correctly. At least in programming terms. The update that caused it was an attempt to duplicate the website ability to see hidden purchases. This change, however, had the unexpected consequence of making all items older than 2 months perminantly show in the purchase history (hidden or not).
