ebay app no longer supports IOS 12

Well, now ebay joined the likes of Home Depot and Lowe’s and requires IOS 13 for its app. I would like to know the real reason (and no, security is not it, because IOS 13.4 is not a stable, nor secure IOS either).

We have not updated the eBay app for iOS 12 for a year. You can still get this version from the App Store if you are on an iOS 12 device.

Thanks for keeping your OS and apps up to date.

It does not work. The ebay app simply says update, or exit. If I try to update it will try to load the old app, which I already have so nothing happens.  I have no problems with using the older app, but it simply does not allow me to. So if your information is correct, why is not the app allowing me to use it?

Please delete the app off your device. Open the App Store and search for ebay and re-download the app.
