barcode scanner fail to find items only when trying to list items

On Pixel 3a, everything used to work perfectly but in the last week I can no longer scan item bar code for listing. When scanning bar code for searching items for purchase it works, but when I list an item and choose to scan the bar code - it can't find the item, the same item it just found when I was searching(to buy).

Are you guys aware of such an issue? I'm certain other people are complaining about it as well.

On iphone it works just fine.

I am having the same problem, and thought there might be others.  Making it difficult to List Items from my phone.
