We have released the new version 5.27.0. You should see it showing up for upgrade over the next 24 hours. Here are some issues reported via the forums that should be working better this release.

Checkout would sometimes get stuck at loading
Some quantities could reset when attempting to purchase
Sellers active items with bids should be green
App could crash in messages
App could crash when setting price filter for motors items

Other enhancements:

Simplified account recovery
Accessibility improvements
Sign in with your Google account
Sign in with your Facebook account
Image search improvements
New way of filtering when browsing

Plus Ebay you got rid of the cash register sound.. I along with millions loved hearing that but sadly your company has decided to play the big boys and get rid of what people liked. Think I'll boot this 2 bit app and just have my email notification sound plus take my business to another platform to sell. You have created your own downfall Ebay.

Why is Google Smart Lock feature removed? Signing in is now very bad, frustrating and time consuming. I actually didn't even sign in anymore because of that

Another comment. Sometimes we need to send a message to the seller when buying an item for example a phone unlock code. But I cannot see this option in the app.

Additionally why can't we just send feedback from the app itself. There should be an option to send feedback from within the actual app.

Thanks for reporting this typo. There should be an option to contact the seller if you scroll down on the item page.

Thanks for the post. We have not removed the cash register sound from the app. If you are not hearing this can you please uninstall and reinstall the app.

Hi. Yes, I have since found the option to contact a seller. But I think it should be in a more prominent place.

Additionally, is there an option to send a message when paying for that item? This is what I was actually referring to. Not sending a general message.

There should be a field when you go to checkout to send the seller a message.

The only way that I can see pictures is to turn off WiFi and to use mobile data.
Been going on now for several months with no fix.

Hi. When viewing a purchase summary, we should be able to see the important things, like the TOTAL amount paid, and for goodness sake, the seller!! I have to tap all over the place to see these things. These important bits of information should be coming up first.

Can you please email us at androidhelp@ebay.com. We would like to look into this. All photos should load on both wifi and cellular.

I spend far too much on eBay to be charged for removing ads. Your fees have become ridiculous and you still have to screw everybody out of more?? Don't you make enough selling illegal copies and unlicensed knock offs from China?

The new updated sold items list ( dispatch now, new offers, may not sell etc) just shows zeros for all the fields, regardless of any sold items.
Im using android using a Samsung tablet.
Just doesn't work, also no way of listing for more than 30 days rather than good till ended.
