What is the current version of the ebay mobile app?

My playstore is prompting me to download version 6.30.0.2.

Last updated, 20 Sept 21.  

Im only asking because it seems odd after reading about it.  I emailed the developer listed and whoever told me to blindly trust playstore and that nothing bad can exist on there.  Now im not the most techy person, but huh?

Version 6.30.0.2 is currently on my Android phone, and seems to be working for me.

What seems odd about it?

Unless you have a very old Android version, you should automatically get the latest version of the eBay app from Google Play Store once it is available. Older versions of the eBay app may no longer work correctly once they are superseded by a new version.

We try to update the app weekly. You can always check google play store for the latest released version.

When receiving "offers" from sellers on Ebay, I would then click the review snd get a notice directing me to get the Newer Ebay Version. I then go to Google Play Store, but all I'm seeing is "installed". What am I to do?🤔

Simple delete the current app and reinstall a new one.
