I have been trying for over a week to get this app to work without result. I have used the e-bay app for many years without an issue but this new one is defective.
I can't even reload the old one which worked perfectly well, to make matters wore e-bay and Apple do not appear to be doing anything about it.

Can you let us know what version of iOS is on your iPad 2? The eBay app does require iOS 11 to install and run.

Hi again,
my iPad has ios 9 .3.5 and each time I search for further updates I am informed that my iPad is up to date.
i understand that your new app requires a newer iOS but I am unable to download any further upgrade to my iOS. Why can't I just re-load the old e-bay app and carry on as before. I have been an e-bay customer for at least 15 years and don't wish to purchase a newer iPad just to use your new app.
please help,
