I've noticed a problem or glitch recently while using the ebay app. I quite like the watchlist feature and being able to create custom lists to categorise different items I'm interested in buying, however I noticed in the last couple of weeks that if I add an item to a list and then delete the same item from my general watchlist, it will be deleted from both lists at the same time. This never used to happen, I could have multiple items in a different list without them needing to be in the main watchlist too. This was so much easier to navigate between different types of items (for example: crafting, clothes, shoes etc). Now I'm having to add everything to the main watchlist and it makes things too jumbled.
It would be nice to have the option to just delete from the main watchlist only and not that and the custom list at the same time, however I don't seem to have that option.
I'm wondering if this is a problem with the recent update (and I also cleared the cache in the app too which didn't help), I'm using an Android 10 phone and as I said I've never had this problem before. I hope it can be resolved soon. Any information and help is appreciated.

This is not an app issue; the same thing happens when using a browser.
eBay changed the way deleting from the Watch List works about a year ago.
Report the issue to eBay if you think this change is not for the better. If enough users complain, eBay may change the way it works.

Expanding on this -
Options through the app:
1. Shake your device while the app is open and that will trigger the option for you to send feedback on product features.
2. Anywhere you see the three dots or the ? you can tap on that to send feedback.
On the web:
Click the ? icon on the bottom right corner of almost any eBay page and that will trigger the option to send feedback to eBay. Screenshots here.

Didn't know it was also an issue on browser too, I only use the app. Did ebay really make changes a year ago? Like I said in my original post it only started for me 2 weeks ago. I've reported it to ebay today so it would be nice to see a change made!

I'm just speculating here, but if you're on Android 10, it's possible you've been on older versions of the app, or at least running it with compatibility patches. This type of legacy support gets phased out over time. That could explain the sudden change, even though the behavior you describe is normal for current app and desktop versions of eBay.
