Re: Update request

I found this information on google.

To update apps on an Apple device, you can use the App Store to manually update apps or set automatic updates:
  • Manually update apps:
    1. Open the App Store
    2. Tap your profile icon or the My Account button at the top of the screen
    3. Scroll down to see pending updates
    4. Tap Update next to the app you want to update, or tap Update All
  • Set automatic updates:
    1. Go to Settings > App Store
    2. Turn on App Updates

Apps that are installed by default on an iPhone will update when iOS is updated.

On a Mac, you can update apps from the App Store or the Apple menu:
  • Update from the App Store

  • Open the App Store app

  • Click Updates in the sidebar

  • Click Update next to each app you want to update, or click Update All

  • Update from the Apple menu

  • Choose Apple menu > App Store
  •
  • Click App Store to get your updates

  • Click Updates in the sidebar to see available updates

  • Set automatic updates

  • Open the App Store app
  •
  • Choose App Store > Settings

  • Select Automatic Updates

.

To update apps on an Android device, you can use the Google Play Store app:
  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap the profile icon in the top right
  3. Tap Manage apps and device
  4. Tap Manage
  5. Find the app you want to update
  6. Tap Update

You can also update all available apps at once by tapping Update all.

To enable automatic updates for an app, you can:
  • Open the app's Details page
  • Tap More
  • Turn on Enable auto update

You can also enable automatic updates for all apps by:
  • Opening the Google Play Store
  • Tapping the profile icon in the top right
  • Tapping Settings
  • Tapping Network preferences
  • Selecting Auto-update apps
  • Choosing if the update should be done over any network or over Wi-Fi only
  • Tapping Done

Re: Update request

What operating system version number and eBay app version number?

If your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app and you cannot update your operating system or use a previous version that is still supported, it should still be possible to use a mobile browser to go to ebay.com or ebay.co.uk and use eBay that way.

If eBay browser links are opening in the app automatically, iOS users should be able to tap and hold an eBay browser link and select "don't open in the app" to prevent that from happening. Android users need to go to the device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links and select "don't open in the app".

Re: Update request

Are you on iOS 15 @charro_9712 ?

If yes, follow eBay's instructions from this post:

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Mobile-Apps/App-will-not-update/m-p/34718836#M49148

If your device has iOS 15 you should still be able to get a version of the app that will run on your device
  1. Delete your ebay app
  2. Go to the App Store, search for ebay
  3. When you download it you will see this alert, tapping download should allow you to get a version that will run on your device.
