I ordered an Amazon fire HD 8 8th generation on the 27th of March 2020 , and up till now I’m not able to get it registered until today I was lucky to get Amazon on phone,  and they told me after checking out the device that I bought a stolen/ lost item that the owners reported it stolen and they Amazon blocked it and that’s d reason why I have not been able to register it because someone else’s information is still in the tablet. You had 30 days from the date of delivery to open a case with eBay and 180 days from the date of payment to open a case with PayPal. If you paid by credit card, check with your cc company for their protection guidelines.
