Ask your client has access to a PC, if he does, he might have an easier time going through checkout on a PC. The app seems to be running into a myriad of problems. I am using firefox and have not had any problems paying anyone.
If buyer does not have access to a PC, ask him if he can switch browsers to see if that will work. Some browsers work better than others.
