Searching for brand names issue

My new 2025 iPad will not list any brand names under the search section of the eBay app. The brand name comes up pretending you can search but says “popular brands” and only lists 4-5 brands.  When I try to type in a brand name not on the 4-5 suggested list nothing comes up.    I can still search them on my old 2014 iPad app and my iPhone. Wondering why it no longer works on the new Apple iPad

Check your old and new iPads to see which version of the eBay app is being used on each device.

It's possible eBay made changes to a newer version of the app and your older device has an older version of the app.

If you believe there's a tech issue you can shake your device to open the pop up for filing a tech report.
