Handling multiple accounts on phone

For those who have multiple accounts, how do you do that?

Normally that is a bit easier to do that on a PC, as you could have different browser, each one handling a dedicated account.

But on the cellphone, it is more challenging as they Ebay app can handle only one account at a time.

Android lets you run only one instance of an app. However,  experimented running an app called dual space, which lets you run multiple instances of an app, but with not so good results.

I guess I could access my 2nd and 3rd account via browsers but I don't think you would get all features, like notifications, and browswer would have to be open the whole time.

Has anyone had good experience in handling multiple accounts in android devices? Which pieces of software have you run to do that?

Hi @geekwannabe - sorry you didn't receive any replies before now.

What you're talking about is definitely something a lot of us would like to see eBay build out in future - the ability to have multiple IDs tied to the app and an ability to toggle between them and get notifications for all of them.

I use the app for my primary selling account. If I need to check my other accounts while away from my computer I'll either use the web browser or sign out of the app and into another account on the app. I prefer the former to the latter since the app limits the number of sign ins per day for security reasons.

Something I find very helpful is having emails for all of my eBay accounts filtered into one email account - then using my email to track notifications (sales, offers, messages, etc) for all of my accounts in one place throughout the day. While the email system is not 100% reliable it works well for me to have a pretty consistent overview. I still log in to each account every day to make sure I didn't miss anything.

While you have the eBay app open, shake your device, then use the option to submit feedback. eBay reads those requests and reports.
