Rover links on Chrome Mobile on iOS will not open

When a link is in target blank, any rover link (tested with eBay app not installed), when opened in a new tab, will shut down right away so user will see again the original linking website without reaching eBay at all. 

This issue was reported long ago. does anyone at eBay plan on ever fixing this bad user experience?

Personally I tested on other rover links, also US eBay links, with different Rover links structure, and my conclusion is that any type of Rover link will cause this issue.
