Does anyone know where to find the revision history for the eBay app?

I don't know if it's a cultural difference, but nearly every single person is creating a new thread here instead of replying to an existing one.
I suspect what is happening is that Android 9 and below UK users are trying to download the latest version of the app and getting stuck in a loop because their operating systems do not support any newer versions and the Google Play Store will only show compatible updates (none), so they keep trying to use the old version of the eBay app -- which is the only version they can actually see or get from Google, so it appears to them that they already have the "latest" version -- and they still keep getting "you must upgrade" messages, despite there being no upgrade path for their operating systems.
At some point in the process there must be a link telling them to post to the US community pages for support with little or no explanation about what that entails, and of course many think they are contacting eBay customer service directly. They are likely being dumped directly into a posting form without actually seeing the forum at all.

On iOS or Android? If on iOS, go the app store, search eBay, and on the eBay app page click the What's New section.
BUT
It's a waste of time. It's been a while (year? two?) since they detailed anything that changed with the new version. Every single version history says the same exact thing:
Bug fixes and performance improvements
We are listening! Shake your phone if you experience a problem with the app or want to send us feedback about your experience on eBay.

That's exactly why it irritates me
I don't mind them not posting it all the time, but sometimes would be good
3 updates in the last 2 days
I don't know if you do but when things get funky the first suspect is anything that's been updated
Anyway, just hoping it was out there somewhere, I even checked the developers site

I'm not seeing 3 updates in 2 days. Are you on Android? That could explain the difference.
I'm seeing an updates:
- couple hours ago
etc
There are usually updates every Monday and sometimes extras if needed.
Anyway, recent updates are easily explained by changes made that affect UK users only. In case you haven't seen there are a few hundred posts on the app board myself and one other person have been answering the past 2 days. Nearly every single person is creating a new thread instead of joining an existing one. 😑

Can you hit me with one of the good conversations
And yes Android, what else is there!?

There are no conversations here on the US forum - maybe try the UK forum. I don't know if it's a cultural difference, but nearly every single person is creating a new thread here instead of replying to an existing one. This forum has been flooded by posts from UK buyers and sellers on the mobile apps board.

I don't know that there is much in the way of "conversation", but this is one of the larger ongoing threads on the UK community at the moment:

A larger thread in the Seller-Central forum:

That does make a lot of sense if they're taken straight into the "start a new post" page. Thanks for that perspective and you're probably right.
I guess I thought they were seeing the forum because a lot of them referenced seeing all the other posts, then still started their own. haha

There are probably multiple routes that those users can take -- some may be seeing a bigger picture than others.

Thanks for the great summary
I should have said mine is asking me to log on every other time
Sounds like the developers are innocent.... This time 😂
