I keep getting e-mails telling me I am using the old version of the ebay app. I'm not sure if it's the one on my phone or Ipad. When I go to the app store for either one, I appear to have the most updated version. I've tried deleting and reinstalling, but it doesn't seem to change anything. I don't want to lose access to ebay, which is what the e-mail says will happen.
Could you please give us more details and steps around the issues you are seeing with motors searching and issues with listing items for sale. These two things should be working.
Hi OK with eBay motors on the old app all I had to do was just go to Ford then put year range 1973 1991 n see all Ford models from that range now on the new app no choice but to look at each model of Ford separate n can't get the year range I want with out having to do each thing separate n half of what I have on my watch list I can't find when I do look up Ford but when I go to my watch list I find it also the day before my app retired in the Fords I was looking at there was 253 listings today I can only find 45 I know they did all sell because I can find most of them in my watch list so what catalog are the other fords in I use to look every night so I know most of how many listings because I write them down to keep track now all I see on this new app is what it thinks I want n more adds to buy stuff I don't want or need I think this is why eBay changed its app so they can sneek in more adds to buy stuff with advertising with sales just more steps to this new app to look at advertising I do want
It doesn't really help because you have on place to enter information like before example old eBay motors find car or truck you would click on that then make would come up n it would give you a choice of if you wanted a model or all models then pick year range that you wanted example make Ford model all year range min 1973 max 1991 you now on this new eBay don't get choices it's what eBay wants so now in this new eBay motors example it's model Ford n you have to give a make crown Victoria you don't get a choice of year range so you have to look at each one separately or if you do find a year you still have to look at each on separate this new eBay is taking to much time to do also it looks like eBay wanted you to do more steps so you bump into all the advertising they now have on here the old way was the best 3.0.0.19 was the easiest n fastest n the other thing is not all devices now can download the new app the new app is junk anyway so that's not a problem for me this hole thing is for more advertising on eBay but it's going to push more customers to other sites like I now use Craigslist it's the easiest n fastest with the same stuff on it as eBay now if eBay had a set up like Craigslist eBay maybe OK
Hi I just tried what was recommended does it help a little but it is now more steps to do this new way is like 7 to 8 steps more than the old way was only 3 steps make model year range the new way make model n click on every year you want so if you want to look at 25 different years you now have to do 25 clicks how is this easy n fast with more steps to do this is like eBay is in reverse the new eBay was trying to be better n faster not slower n this is only one of the many problems I have with new eBay I don't know if I am talking with an eBay rep or someone trying to help but if this is a eBay rep keep contacting me I still have a lot of problems on here n all the time to talk about it maybe eBay will get it right soon thanks
I try to open my eBay app on my iPad and it say I need to update, but Apple apps says it's unavailable now I have to open Apple apps got to ebay update and open from there, WTFudge? Tried deleting and now it won't let me reinstall. Great work Ebay.
