I am using the latest Android eBay app on my Samsung Note 4 running Android 6.01
Yesterday, I added a bid listing for an item (# 115324839145) to my Watching List. The item description is in my Saved List, but email alerts are turned off I found the listing by accident.
This morning I checked the listing for activity, but it had ended (many days before the end date). I wrote the seller to ask what happened. He wrote back that he changed the listing to add a "Buy It Now" button and that a buyer had bought it.
My feeling is that because it was on my watch list, I should have been notified of the listing update.
I chatted with two different people at eBay. Trisha thought that it was because email alerts were turned off. She gave me a procedure to fix the issue. I explained to her that I often see items that aren't on my Saved list that I put on my Watching List. She agreed and said she would elevate my problem.
Afterwards, I tried to follow her procedure, but it was quickly clear that they did not apply to the Android eBay App.
I did check under Settings/Notifications/Item Updates. I found that "Alert me for updates to items I am watching" was checked - which I believe means I should have been allerted when the Seller added the "Buy It Now" button.
Can you please fix this?!
