I’m not sure why but my app isn’t letting me add photos to messages anymore

Did you check on your iPhone/iPad setting > privacy > photos? 
To see it “read and write” is turned on?

Also check on your iPhone/iPad setting > privacy > camera.
To see if eBay is turned on - if you shoot photos on the spot.
