I'm liking the new layout for photos on the app. I take pride in my pics and this really displays them well for my customers. I just updated the app yesterday so I'm not sure if it's been there awhile or part of the fall seller update.

Hello, now when I click the first photo shown a collage of all the photos appear. From there you can click on the ones your interest in to expand if wanted. Prior it was a scroll through that not all buyers may go through all and miss something. My last app update was in July so I'm not sure how new this is. Might be old news.

@idealcollectibles that is kind of cool, thanks for bringing attention to it! I'm not sure when it changed either, so like you said it may be old news, but cool none the less. 😊
I'll see if I can help with some screenshots for anyone who is interested in how it looks.
Previously it was just the swipe left and right function, which you can still do.
But now if you tap on the image itself, it pops up a gallery view.
Then you can tap individual pictures to get the zoomed in view.

I dislike it entirely.
When tapping to expand an image i have to tap a second time before i can even begin to zoom in when wanting a closer inspection of an item.
From a buyers point of view its an unnecessary secondary step to get to what I want.

Absolutely agree. App and page designers used to understand that more taps is a turn off. As someone that buys items with a lots of detail such as books, stamps, coins, etc the condition and detail is very important. This new layout introduces more taps to open the first photo and zoom in, then out, then move through the photos, then additional taps to get back to the listing. Doing this for hundreds of listings a day is driving me mad. I’ve started to use vinted and other online auctions instead, after 19 years of loving eBay.

I'm sorry but you can't come here and say anything good or positive. You must work for eBay if you do. This board is only for people who want to complain and refuse to take suggestions to fix their problem.
(All sarcasm of course)

Thanks for sharing this feedback. We have heard both good and critical feedback from this change. For customers who want to zoom in often we see it has added some extra steps there. We will share this with the correct team.
Thanks!

I totally concur. Application and page planners used to comprehend that more taps were a mood killer. As somebody that purchases things with a heap of detail, like books, stamps, coins, and so forth, the condition and detail are vital. This new format acquaints more taps with [sekho] opening the principal photograph and zooming in, then, at that point, out, then, at that point, traveling through the photographs, and then, at that point, extra taps to return to the posting.
