The messaging system is glitchy! I can't communicate with sellers as the send arrow only appears about 1/4 the time. It also has trouble loading the messages received so I can read them. Sometimes I have to click back out of the message and then back into it a few times before it decides to load.
Thanks for posting. Can you let us know what version of android is on your device. Can you let us know what screen you are on before you try to compose a message.
My app does the same thing with messages. I open one once. Then it wont open again or any other message. I have to force close and reopen to see message.
I am on Android 8.1 on LG phone. Had been working fine until recently.
I am not 100% sure exactly what you are asking me. I am not a super techy person - can tell you what phone I have, but beyond that I have no clue. I have a galaxy S7 that auto updates the software...so would be the most recent software. And I am in either the send message screen or the reply to message screen when I try to send a message....if I can get there because a lot of times it doesn't even want to open the original message or the send message screen.
Make sure you have the latest version of the eBay app (5.42.0.8).
If you have not already done so, try uninstalling the app, restarting your device, and then re-installing the eBay app. Restarting ensures you are getting a clean install.
