I want a way to turn off notifications for watched items, other than to stop watching.

Sigh. I just want to browse in peace no notifications no reminders that I might mistake for a sale notification. They either need to give us a way to turn off notifications or I will just stop keeping a watched list,

Thanks for the post. To turn off watched item notifications you can do the following.

1. Open app

2. Tap My eBay

3. Tap Settings

4. Tap notifications

5. Tap Buying

6. Turn of Item Ending notifications

It has been two months and @Anonymous hasn’t provided an update about turning off watch item reminder notifications. I followed the steps on the iOS app and discovered that I already opt out of  reminder notifications. I also checked  my account via the web and discovered that I had already opted out of reminder notifications.  (They weren’t really discoveries since I knew I had opted out ages ago.) Yesterday, I still get reminders multiple times a day. I don’t  want to turn off all notifications because that would affect knowing when I make a sale. 

The feature is is clearly broken. Ebay has been made aware multiple times, but it appears the company refuses to fix it.

the fact this is still an issue in late 2019, shows eBay aren’t even trying to update their app for users. I’ve had this issue over the span of THREE phones now. I end up just deleting the eBay app until I’ve bought an item and received it

I was able to turn off notifications fir watched items by going to the ebay website. my ebay, account, communication preferences, buyer. the are two settings about watched items and that does it.

All of those boxes are unchecked on my account so that I don't receive alerts, yet I still receive these alerts daily. How do I really turn it off?

There is no notifcation bar on website, so you cant do this, on this he mobile, you can't do this as buying brings up what sound you want it to make. How about you actual solve the problem **bleep**.

open app

settings

notifications 

turn off ITEM ENDING (notify me before a watched, bid or shopping basket item ends)

Turn on Auction Updates (to still get notification on stuff you've bid.

(i believe they change settings, the way they are set up and etc to stop people from learning and disabling stuff.
