How do I block or turn off the monthly credit card and loan offers that eBay sends to my inbox?
I am referring to the spam that comes into my ebay messages, specifically this:
Open a new eBay Mastercard® account and spend $300+ on eBay within 30 days. All with no annual fee.**

I have zero interest in this constant garbage and spamming of my inbox.

Please don't close out this question and claim it has been "solved" as moderators have done in the past without coming up with a valid solution.

Not entirely sure what category those promotions might fall under, but if you have not already done so, start with your Communication Preferences and uncheck any categories you do not wish to receive, particularly anything under Marketing Preferences. Changes may not be immediately reflected in your messages, though.

I do not see any similar messages in my eBay message inbox, so either I have managed to opt out at some point, or else I do not qualify for the same deal for some reason.

I recently talked to customer support and they suggested this too but every single box was already unchecked in the section. They suggested opting out of ebay bucks, which seemed odd as well.

What about the options under Selling? Perhaps as a seller you have additional options that I cannot see as a buyer. I did not see anything under Buying that looked related to such promotions.
I doubt that the credit card message is related to eBay Bucks and I would not recommend opting out of eBay Bucks. If you opt out you may not be able to opt in again, as the program is closed to additional users. Although the issue may be moot, as it appears that eBay has not sent any eBay Bucks promotion offers since January. But perhaps they will decide to start back up again at some point.
I am currently subscribed to eBay Bucks and I have not received any credit card offer messages that I can recall, though there may have been some years ago that I am overlooking.

You could also just click the box next to the message and delete it without opening and reading. Which is what I do. 🙂

I usually do but the point is that I don't want to see the "1 unread message" notification when it has absolutely nothing to do with any item I'm selling in my store. Ebay should give us an opt out.

I think the customer service was out of ideas so they suggested the ebay bucks thing. It didn't make sense to me either because ebay bucks is no longer existent.
