After trying a month ago to list from my ebay app as I've done easily and quickly for years and finding the updated app to be an absolute horror I waited until today to give it a try. Hoping it would be better. A few things seemed to be fixed but others are still terrible.

I listed a pair of shoes and when I went to list a second pair exactly the same but in a different color I chose sell similar as I would have done in the past. The new form had erased the entire description which forced me to retype the whole thing when I only needed to switch one word to indicate the different color. Then I had to go back and get rid of all the tiresome choices ebay auto populates to get the listing the way I wanted. In the past it would have saved the choices I made on the previous listing when choosing sell similar. What's the point on the sell similar option if you get rid of all the specifics I just chose and I have to do it all over again.

I'm going back to Etsy. I never had one single problem with the old ebay app. This new one is a s--t show.

Thanks for the post. When you sell similar of your own item the description should not be removed, we will look into this. Do you have more details on which items were auto-populated the app should be using most of the information from your previous listing. Could you send us the item you were trying to sell similar of so we can try to get this problem to happen in our testing.

Having same issue. I've always used Sell Similar to save time and it's worked without issues with previous versions of the app. I've also used an html template in my item descriptions for years and the new app does not allow me to edit the Item Description for this reason. I'm having major issues with the following:

1. I can no longer edit the Item Condition. I can select "New" or "Used" but that's it. It will keep the old data from previous listing which is inaccurate. Then I must edit it after posting on desktop. Major delimma and unnecessary waste of time.

2. Active Selling list no longer displays "Time Remaining" for GTC listings. I no longer know when 30-day cycles are ending on ALL of my GTC listings. This is vital information to me as I use this info to determine when I send items to auction. There is know way to know this now on the new app. Why did Ebay cripple it's Sellers with this new app? (5.27)?

3. I can no longer edit the Item Description on new app without erasing my template.

These new issues are so severe I am being forced to use the old app on my iPad. Major bummer. I wish Ebay would atleast offer the old app to those who are having difficulties which seems to be a lot of regular Sellers. The 5.27 update is the worse thing Ebay has done in years. I am very troubled and disappointed with it.

To answer your question of what items were auto populated .... it was basically a brand new form. It kept nothing of the listing I was trying to sell similar other than the title and category.
