I went to go make offers on viable items tonight as I usually do, but the app is now forcing me to do percentages off instead of round dollar amounts. So if for example I have an item listed for $9 and I want to do an offer of $7, I legitimately *can’t* anymore, as I can only do like 22% to get to $6.93 or something. This just feels like a really annoying change that makes it harder to make offers the way I usually do; is there some way around this seemingly forced system?

User error - there is a little drop down.

For some reason this drop-down doesn’t exist in the app for me; currently the eBay app seems to only be allowing percentages. I’ll see if there’s another update out yet. On the OS version for reference.

I agree this is nuts making you only do a percentage! I like the old way also just putting a flat rate and not a percentage, not sure why eBay keeps changing there formats, if it's not broken don't fix it! 😡

I have just noticed this too. Only just this afternoon it was normal and literally a few hours later I have seen a few items eligible to send offers and I’m completely confused what to put.
why on earth would they introduce this now. So many people will make mistakes . And what is this “auto send offers “ already checked without my knowledge!
This is rubbish- I’m not even going to send out the offers until it is sorted back to its original format .
im using iOS app - if there’s a way to switch back please let me know .

Hey there.
Hope are you able to change the option from percentages to amounts?
i do not have that option on my phone.

Also is it making you do free postage?
my ones saying to set the percentage I want to discount and it also has “+ postage” does this mean the percent I choose to discount the item will also discount the postage for the dance amount?

The shipping shouldn't change, it's not part of an offer.

It is missing on my iPhone app but it is showing on my wives android app. I see others mentioning the problem. Hopefully it returns soon.

Instead of selecting "send offers" tab at the lower end of app page, which selects the percentage option, select each listing individually, and then you can select the dollar amount you would like to offer.
Above each eligible listing is a "make an offer" or "send offer" tab, select this instead of the way you're currently performing the function.

I'll post a screenshot shortly...but, I know exactly what you mean.

See screenshot below: my electronic handwriting is atrocious.

The above method from @cardxcraft worked for me until my app just updated to the latest version. Now that send offer banner is gone and it's forced into the checkbox with blue send offer button. Exclusively % off, no $ amount. iOS

Maybe because now any offer has to be at least 5% off?

Whether percentage or dollar amount, the min has always been 5% discount. That's not new.
