@bobb4o Other users (mostly from Italy) using iOS 18 are reporting the same issue.
If it keeps crashing, you may need to use the web browser until the problem is fixed. eBay generally releases app updates on Mondays, so check the App Store in a day or two and see if the next update resolves the problem.
I suggest filing a tech report from the website - click the ? icon on the lower right corner of the website from your browser. You can also shake your phone while the app is open to file a tech report, but I think that will only work if you're logged in.

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.
There is another version of the app available for iOS 16 users; see here:

A possible workaround for iOS 15 users is suggested here:

Some users in Italy are reporting problems with the latest version of the eBay app on iOS 18.
If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.
If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app". Or else delete the app entirely.

Some users in Italy are having problems with the latest version of the eBay app with iOS 18. Possibly you are running into the same or a similar problem.
See if there is a new version of the app available that works better.
Try using a browser instead of the app if you cannot get the app to work.
