Ebay app does not work on Ipad

Hi, my ebay app recently stopped working.

It comes up with an error of "Updste required.

This version has expired" then gives you the option of update or exit.

Both options fail and only exit the app.

I deleted the app and re-installed from the app shop - Ebay app version 6.2.0.

I also checked if I needed an iOS update and there is no update.

My iOS version is 10.3.4
