EBay app on ios15 will not update, or allow older version. EBay account is now unavailable to me.

I am apparently not the only ios15 user to have this issue.  My wife is on ios16 and the app still works fine on her iPad.  I have been an EBay account holder and regular user since 2002.

Ebay will lose a lot of business over this!  Please sort this ASAP.

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
