eBay updated app

New app !!!, now I can’t access my account, my phone works in every way it should but now eBay’s new app has shut me out, and I’m not the only one hundreds probably thousands of users now excluded, is that really how eBay  treats its customers, I will not be bullied into buying a new phone that I don’t need. Well done eBay you have alienated hundreds of customers who like me spend hundreds of pounds a year ( I expect your sellers are thrilled)

eBay updated app

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

There is another version of the app available for iOS 16 users; see here:

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
