Deleted messages automatically undelete

Okay,for ages now everytime i delete messages they simply reappear when i restart the android app.

To be clear,i go into the messages on ebay app,click edit,select all the messages and then hit the bin icon.

"Messages deleted".

Exit the app.Then re open the app and like magic the messages are there again.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 model with Android 9.

This has been going on for as long as i can remeber.

You cannot delete messages, ebay does that about every 6 months.

Hello again @Anonymous! They wanted to know if you've noticed a difference between emails from eBay and those you get from other members, or if it doesn't matter, and none of them will delete?

Yeah, well, not all of us use cell phones to play on eBay.  What about those who still use their computers?  How the heck do we delete the junk in the Trash folder?

There currently isn't an option to delete trashed emails @adirondack-pc. When they're deleted on the app, they go to the trash section found on the website, similar to the messages you delete on the website. They then expire after 6 months.

The messages always reappear. And then when I think they're finally gone if a new member messages me all of the old ones are back too.

I have the same issue. Messages deleted on the app keep returning when app is opened again.
