Cash register cha-ching sound not working

I recently noticed that I'm not getting that cha-ching sound when I get a bid or a sale. I went into my Ebay settings and it's not even an option on my sound menu. What's going on? I'm selling items and not even aware of it until I go into my app and look. Samsung Galaxy S8

My first Google search on the problem brought me to your fix. Thank you! I didn't make any changes to my app settings, so don't know why it vanished in the first place. And yes, who would think it would be buried in there? Glad to have it back, love hearing it!

Nothing happens when I touch the phrase silent notifications. I have a Huwaei android phone

Thanks a million....I was selling items without any knowledge, as I used to get the "cha ching" sound and thought that maybe I was just not hearing the sound if I was in another room from the phone, until today, the phone was by my side and no cha ching......now it works, and I will be able to ship items even faster!!  Thanks again!!!

Whaaat!!!! This Worked Perfectly ! At first I didn't get it...But when you go to "notification categories" and then you scroll down to "Silent notifications" I didn't realize at first that you LITERALLY have to TOUCH the words "Silent Notifications" also!  ...don't just turn on the toggle. And then it will take you to another screen. Holy **bleep** talk about hide & go seek all over again.. Lol thanks so much, you were Very Helpful!👍😉🇨🇦

Naw...like others here, there is no "cha-ching" option on my phone...I had noticed months ago I wasn't hearing it anymore. The closest sound I can choose now is "vintage" which at least kinda sounds like a cash register...LOL.

Thank you for taking the time to write this out!!!! Just did it and it works on Galaxy 22 Plus in 2023 right now
