Can’t download eBay app to iPad Air 2.

I’m trying to download the eBay app to an iPad Air 2. It says the app requires iPadOS 16.0 or later to work but the iPad Air 2 only supports iPadOS 15 and before. Is there anyway around this so I can use the app on my iPad?

iPadOS 15 no longer supports current versions of the eBay app. You'll have to access eBay through a browser.

You might run into some tech issues even using the website. Same will happen for other sites and apps, not just eBay.

Unfortunately tech ages pretty quickly and once a device ages past new updates, it's upgrade or lose function.
