The app on my android phone isn't loading and is showing as 'network error' as has been for at least 3 days. Luckily I'm only buying, but that does mean that I'm not receiving any notifications.
Can someone please confirm if eBay are looking into this?

What version of the eBay app do you have on your new phone?
If you have 6.12.1.8, I believe that is the latest version of the eBay app.
In some cases, a new phone may actually have an old version of Google Play Store or Google Play Services which can make it impossible to actually get the latest version of the eBay app until you upgrade those first.

Yep, first thing I did was update, then uninstall and reinstalled it. Still nothing.

Same here. Brand new phone too, Android 11! App works fine on the old phone running Android 10.

Clear out your cache in google play services under apps. Then repeat in the EBAY app. You should be able to login then. It worked for me.

I have downloaded it 3 times and it will not work version 6.16. I have a new Motorola stylus 2021 android and it says no network. I am a computer guy too. It works in a browser just fine just not the app. Need to fix the issue!!

I am still having the same issue on ebay app when searching. Search function will work fine a few times and then I get this message "There was an internal error. Please try restarting app". I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice. Still same problem. Next I followed advice from this thread as a confirmed solution which was clear cache/memory from Google Play Services app. Then do the same for Google Play Store. Then uninstalled/reinstalled eBay app yet issue still exists. EBAY PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE

Mobile app not working, for a few days now. Fields missing, keeps freezing, then says network error, can't enter UPC, just get the spinning wheel forever, can't enter package details, loses my photos so I have to start again etc etc. It's a disaster and a waste of my time!!! Please fix!!!

Messaged Ebay on their help chat today and the customer service agent told me 72 hours until the Ebay app will work again to post new listings for sale. I am at a loss. Losing alot of money in new listings that I need to post. Using my laptop to post listings is 1/10th as efficient with how long it takes to upload photos, ease of use differences, etc. I am sure their tech team is working on this, but this is very frustrating

I just called eBay and was told the only way to fix the app problem was to go buy an eBay card, for $100, but that eBay would refund me. Yeah right! The lady said there was nothing anybody could do for me and would not put me on with a supervisor. She said if just have to call back when he isn’t busy. So I guess I can’t sell anymore on eBay.
