Android app - i can't bid

Can anyone help, a fair percentage of listing (same seller) let me put a bid price as far as review then it won't go any further.  The prices things are selling for suggests it's not just me. I've cleared my app cache on Google play and reinstalled the app and updated/restarted my phone, nothing doing. I can't see any helpful advice from Ebay and the way they've not bothered fixing an issue on my selling account for over 8 months  (apparently it's verrry difficult) none of this surprises me!

Are you able to place a bid using a browser instead of the eBay app?

The app seems to be having problems related to searching at the moment.

I'm having the same problem. Missed out on several items I'd been watching for days. Incredibly frustrating seeing them sell without the ability to bid.

The app lets me enter a bid but after hitting "review bid" I get a blank screen except for the current bid amount and countdown timer. The item title, bid amount I've entered and "confirm bid" button are all missing.

I've done everything I can with my phone short of factory resetting it! Tried a different phone and am having the same problem so it's not the phone.

Hello! The mobile team is aware and looking into a fix. Keep an eye out for the upcoming update.

The cut off time to place a Bid seems to be 5 minutes for the end of an auction.

However this only applies where a Bid has already been placed.

I missed out on 6 bids, last 48 hours. I get a "place bid x" and a white screen. Deleted cache, cookies, etc.

evening of July 2, 3 and 4 of 2022.

hello

i experience the same problem since a week approximately. The button to increase my bid does not appear on the mobile app. it does well appear on the computer.  i removed the app and installed it again. it doesn't solve the issue.

is there another fix coming ?
