Advertising in purchases

Hi, just updated my app and instead of multiple repeats of my purchases I’m now getting hundreds of advertisements in my purchase history. These are sponsored advertisements and are making tracking purchases difficult. These advertisements are between each purchase and there are lots of them. Can anyone tell me how to reverse the update. I’d rather have multiple repeats of things I’ve bought than hundreds of intrusive adverts. Thanks.,

This is super unprofessional, trying to track purchases has become a nuisance..looks horrible too, seriously a sponsor AD under every single purchase? Gross.

Me too and it’s awful! The scrolling past them and it’s just more stuff more stuff more stuff. Ugh.

I really dislike this too. I really hope that this gets fixed. I cannot stand seeing the exact same ads every other line.

Ugh. And I have major vision issues so that bouncing of the purchased items and the ads as the open and close while scrolling is literally making me nauseous. If they don’t give us an opt out or remove it, I have no choice but to stop going to that page at all. Not worth getting sick over. My old eyes can’t handle it. I know no one from ebay is looking at this community forum, so how do we let them know that it is a problem for some of us? It’s truly horrible.

eBay seems to have added those suggestions to the Purchases screen shown in the app.

You can avoid those suggestions by avoiding the eBay app and using a browser to go to ebay.com instead.

Issues with the app can be reported by shaking your phone while the app is active; I think this qualifies as "an issue with the app".

I guess my call to CS explaining how they are awful for me due to vision issues worked because all of a sudden they’re gone (the inserted bouncing ad things, not my eyes LOL)! My eyes are happy again!

This is one of the worst, if not THE worst, feature I've seen on any app. I instantly phoned eBay and told them l will never use their system again unless this advertising in purchases is reversed - I've been an active weekly member for 22 years. Cannot believe this wasn't user tested correctly before release. Absolute junk. Cannot track purchases at all! Well done everyone for speaking up!
