Some item specifics are crazy. What does making method have anything to do with a peeler, soap brush etc, etc.

Some items still state that some items are missing but all items are filled in. Duplication of item and model numbers. Too much information! Let confuse the buyer! This need to be streamlined so it fits the category.

Ebay screws it up again for the sellers!

I agree item specifics don't necessarily all apply to the item you are selling, some are actually funny, make you wonder - "who thought of that?"

I just fill them in with na, or other nil characters. It doesn't do much good to complain. Figure out work arounds, hey new name for listing " work around ebay.... " like ring around the rosie, pocket full of posies!

The Fall Seller Update states, O p t i s e l l e r Aspect Finder+ is FREE for all sellers until the end of this year. Except that I have no idea where it is hiding! 

At this time, the only Seller Update I am waiting of is this one: 

- Automatic relisting of sellers' FP listing is cancelled

- Sellers have a choice whether to join Managed Payments or not

- Final value fees on the TAXES ebay collects from buyers will no longer be charged to sellers

- Final Value Fees for shipping labels printed on eBay will no longer be charged to sellers (note: this is double dipping, because first off, the shipping labels could be made mandatory CALCULATED, thus no seller could cheat on their price, and secondly, eBay gets a handsome reward from USPS (and now perhaps UPS, also) after each label printed, because eBay does not roll over all discount on the labels to sellers). 

- eBay created a state of the Art Seller Protection Program that eliminates Buyer Fraud

- Sellers are all in FULL charge of their return policies, including the cancellation of the automated return program

- eBay employed 5,000 new US Customer Service agents, well-trained, available on the phone 6:00 - 22.00 PST and all residing in the USA

- eBay restores the TRS benefits program to be once again 20% off of all fees charged to sellers

- eBay eliminates the DEFECT system

- All listing will be shown to ALL potential buyers at ALL times, in search (bu-bye Cassini!)

- eBay bucks will go back to be the same percentage as they have been earlier, for buyers. 

I am sure I forgot something. Until such time that all of the above are announced, I do not feel motivated to create new listings here.

took a look at it and liked how it stated more sellers will be enrolled into mangled payments when that should really say more sellers will be strangled by mangled payments !! Guess since I refuse to sign up for that garbage and am now restricted from selling I have no worries lol !! Ebay is going down hill like a rocket !! I like the old ebay but this new ebay is not for me at all !! I heard ebay had been sold or a part of it !! Just curious did China buy it ? Sellers do not have any kind of control anymore !
