Hi all, it's been a while since I did a combined shipping order. I figured that part out on the invoice. My problem is that this buyer bought her first lot and paid for it and then asked me to wait because she was bidding on other items. There are 3 other items she bought.
The first had free shipping and the other 3 had various shipping fees. I'm just going to put all 4 in a small flat rate box and pay it myself. The first sale has been sitting waiting for the others to finish and now I have a "ship now past due" notice in red right beneath it. Will I be dinged for the late shipping on that item? She hasn't paid for the other 3 yet and that makes the 1st one even more late.
Anything to worry about?
Thanks, Alex

Morning, Alex. Sorry no help for you...looks like they have us backed into a corner on something like this.
Years past we were able to allow buyers to shop a bit before shipping combined items..not so anymore now that Ebay has almost complete control of our own business....the only thing left is for them to do is 'price it' for us lol hang on..that`s probably coming too.
Dunno if it would help calling them or not...they`ll probably say they have no control over what the computer system does

I agree with Sarah. Some years ago, combined shipping did not present a problem. I know that I did it successfully with no negative repercussions from Ebay.
Now I'm not sure.

I wouldn't sweat too much about the one late shipment. Between Covid & all the nasty weather I think the late shipment may be "forgiven."
I had one late shipment pop up then disappear a couple of days later.
Now of course hubby drove around for 2 days with stuff that needed to the PO after Presidents Day-he "forgot." He must have had 6 or 7 packages, I wanted to kill him! He had one job.........😡
