As a new seller I was wondering what color background is best when taking pictures of clothing? I find my pure white background pictures don't get that much views and my regular ugly looking background pictures sold faster. People are saying eBay wants pure white. Im now more confused than ever. Then I bought a photo studio and the lighting still not bright white....I don't want to give up but I'm starting to feel not motivated to list

I think your pictures look really nice on the white background. You are right that white is what is recommended. People may not be purchasing a lot of clothes with Christmas just having passed. My sales are slower than usual as well.

You pose an interesting question because I've often wondered what background color I should try to utilize for my fashion videos.

I would say that, unless the clothing itself is bright white, the background should within the range of white, cream, or light beige.

White is a good background, however, lighting is as important with any background.  My brother is a PT whenever he feels like it photographer.  He gave me a set of lights that he did not like and told me to have one higher than the other to give the item that 'full light look.  I did try it and it worked with me.  Let me see if I remember how to upload a pic

This one is one that I used a vinyl backdrop, which IMHO worked better for me.  I will see if can upload one with a cloth backdrop.

I wasn't selling anything, lol.  In fact, I'm mostly a buyer here on e-Bay and usually of fashions at that.  I purchased all pieces of the fashion combination that I'm wearing in the video.

Many sellers sell all seasons (clothing) year round but the general rule is to post one season ahead. You'll notice big retailers mark their winter items down soon after Christmas and start rolling out their Spring items. It's the same idea.

Better use white background which universal for all seller, or if you have huge amount of image then you can take background remove service from UK Clipping Path
