Fraudulent Battery Advertising

Ebay is flooded with sellers advertising AA rechargeable batteries at 3000 mAh capacity (eg. BTY). When fully charged they barely measure 800 mAh. It's time consuming to return them. Cannot something be done to verify advertising claims?

You can make an item not as described claim. I guess that's it.

Re: Fraudulent Battery Advertising

I DID make a claim, and got my money refunded, but this false advertising is so blatant that I think eBay should do something to curtail it. Thanks for responding.

Re: Fraudulent Battery Advertising

The #18650 Li-ion batteries claiming more than 4 amps are trash. I just refunded 360 cells rated at 10,000 ma. Tested at 200 ma. or 2% of rated capacity.  Buy Japanese, not Chinese.
